This EP is really two thought experiments. Temporal is just toying with the classic echoplex dub technique of changing a delays fx rate or time in an updated modern way in Ableton and selecting specific double time or half time BPM. So the entire tracks time is expanded and contracted causing some very dramatic moments in a song with simple repeating parts.
Fractal is a simple melody, each time it is repeated, it doubles in pitch. I enjoyed how this song reached a classic "row row row your boat" round feel and sounds like a childrens song before it gets a bit carried away. I really wish I had done this a higher sample rate. You can really hear a lot artifacts in the upper and lowers...also wow did the high end frequencies build up...almost like I'm in a room >>>[ ]<<<
